1. Memory Foam Slippers
I am obsessed with these slippers and honestly wear them everyday! I love that you can roll up the tops to keep your ankles warm as well. I even have two pair to coordinate with different outfits. (Am I the only New Yorker that thinks black doesn’t go with everything? Probably.) I buy these as a gift for friends or family every chance I get. They make working from home or even lounging on the couch that much more enjoyable. They are just so comfortable. I read on the reviews that people even wear these outside, but I personally stick to wearing them indoors.
2. Candle Warmer
Nothing is better than having the aroma of a cozy candle in the air. I personally love the voluspa candles in the scents Gogi Orange or Vanilla. If I’m in the mood to really splurge, I buy the grapefruit scent from Nest; it is absolutely perfect for summertime. The best part about this candle warmer is that it makes scents last incredibly long. Before I would burn a candle in less than a week, now candles last me literally months. I can’t go through them fast enough. I also love that you can adjust the light so you can have a modest scent in the background or bold scent – it just depends on your mood.
3. Coffee Warmer
The reason I am such a fan of iced coffee is because I don’t have to worry about it getting cold. Finding this coffee warmer changed everything! Now my coffee maintains it’s fresh from the pot flavor without that weird after taste. There is nothing better than hot coffee on a cold winter day!

During the work day, it’s so easy to get in the zone and forget that you had your coffee sitting right next to you. With this coffee warmer, it is always there freshly waiting.
4. Yeti
With all the coffee I drink in the day, I have to make sure that I stay hydrated. This Yeti holds a lot and keeps my water ice cold all day. I know the stanley cups are all the rage, but this is my personal favorite. I also love that I can use my Yeti tops interchangeably.
5. Zoom Light
If you want to go from drab to fab, I highly recommend this light. It’s super compact and can fix any bad lighting situation. You hav the option to change the tones from warm to cool, and you can adjusted the brightness to what ever your lighting situation requires. If you are comfortable with it, it is also great to have in the airport or even the car. It makes you look way more put together and professional even when you don’t have make-up on.
6. Tinted Moisturizer
All the blue light from your laptop and zoom light contributes to aging! I love this tinted moisturizer because it serves two purposes 1) I hit my SPF quota for the day, and 2) it gives me enough coverage that I don’t have any desire to put on foundation. I love that it is a hydrating formula and a universal shade to always match my skin tone. It has all the skincare I need and compared to Sephora, I think the price is pretty reasonable.
7. Laptop Cover
Let me start by saying I’ve had this laptop cover for over 4 years! Every time I whip out my laptop, I always get compliments. People are drawn to the sleek style, lightweight, but sturdy material, and the fact that you can use it as a desk cover and as a mouse pad as well.
8. Apple Magic Mouse
With having a mac laptop, I like to keep it in the apple family. Apple’s mouses are sleek, compact, and easy to travel with. I love that they are wireless and hold a charge for a really long time. Added bonus- that it utilizes the same charger as my phone and the next item.
If the ergonomics of the mouse aren’t up to your likings. You can also purchase add-ons to make it even more comfortable. I personally enjoy the design as is.
I do want to flag that the charger is on the bottom of this mouse so you can’t use it while charging, but if you charge it at the end of the work week, you shouldn’t have any problems.
9. Apple Keyboard
To round out my collection of apple products, you can’t go wrong with the apple keyboard. Just like the mouse, it is wireless, and I love the size. For me, having a separate keyboard and mouse are essential. I don’t like being hunched over staring at my small screen.
Another great feature is that this keyboard is compatible with my Ipad Pro, so whenever i want to work from the couch or have a more compact set-up, I can just take this and my iPad with me.
10. Portable Monitor
I’m not being dramatic when I say this might be one of the best purchases of my life. I am using it right now, and wish I knew these were a thing before I had my company ship me a monitor the same size as my NYC apt. If there is one thing you purchase from this list, make it this portable monitor. This has seriously changed my life. My old, huge monitor now sits in my closet and I use this everyday whether I am working in a cafe, traveling, or at home. It takes up virtually no space and is light enough to travel with. All you need to do is plug it into your laptop, and you instantly have double the screen space.
11. Laptop Raiser
Neck lines? No thank you. If you have a laptop, this is a necessity. Not only does it encourage good posture, but it helps to support better wrist placement if you are typing directly on your laptop. It does all this, and condenses down to quite literally nothing. I love that this collapses down so compactly and is easy to take on the go and even just put in a drawer at the end of the day. It’s super easy to grab and go, and supports the remote work lifestyle.
